X stems from a project commenced by Glen Cummings and Adam Michaels with no formal name other than the implied title of "X". The project has inspired wallpaper, furniture, projected algorithms, a series of events, and a small book of initial research into the history, adaptation, and cultural significance of the "X" symbol. These separate components of the project were assimilated into an exhibition at W/---- Gallery in New York, for which a quantity of 1000 books was printed. This is that book!
